AS Otoho d’Oyo delivered a stunning 4-1 home victory over CR Belouizdad in the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.
A frantic first half saw Otoho strike three times, with goals from Jacques Bowamba, Bandiougou Diallo, and Gosim Duvan by the 29th minute.
Dion Ravelli sealed the deal in the 65th minute, despite Abderrahmane Meziane pulling one back for Belouizdad with a late penalty.
The win puts Otoho in a strong position, leaving Belouizdad under pressure ahead of their next away game.
In Group C’s other match, Stellenbosch faces Singida Black Stars on Sunday.
Elsewhere in Johannesburg, Kaizer Chiefs grabbed a late point against Zamalek, with substitute Silva scoring in the 90+6 minute to cancel out Seifeddine Jaziri’s third-minute goal.
Zamalek had controlled much of the game, but Chiefs’ resilience paid off with the stoppage-time equalizer.
The draw keeps Group D tight, with Al Masry leading on six points, Zamalek second on four, Chiefs third on one, and ZESCO United bottom with zero points.
