Pyramids FC Secure Victory, Esperance Snatch Late Draw in CAF Champions League

Defending champions Pyramids FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Power Dynamos in Zambia to maintain their perfect start to the CAF Champions League.

Mohamed Reda Bobo scored the only goal in the 51st minute, handing Pyramids all three points.

With the victory, Pyramids join RS Berkane at the top of Group A with six points each.

Power Dynamos, on the other hand, remain pointless after two losses.

In Group D, Esperance de Tunis showed resilience in a 1-1 draw against Petro de Luanda in Angola.

Petro de Luanda took the lead through Tiago Reis in the 49th minute, but Esperance fought back as Aboubacar Diakité levelled in the 89th minute.

Esperance now has two points from two draws, while Petro de Luanda leads Group D with four points.

The outcome of Simba SC vs Stade Malien on Sunday could shake up the standings.
