Dani Olmo has declared that he envisions his future with FC Barcelona, where he is currently enjoying his second season.

In response to speculation about his future, Olmo stated, “Is my future at Barça secure? Yes, I would say so. Just because my agent meets with the club’s management doesn’t necessarily mean they’re exclusively discussing my situation. They have their own responsibilities as well.” This comment was made in an interview with Mundo Deportivo, addressing recent reports of his agent’s discussions with the club’s hierarchy.

Olmo reflected on the challenges posed by injuries, saying, “Experiencing injuries is never a pleasant thing for any athlete. This is particularly relevant for me, given the complications I’ve faced during my time at Barcelona, which have been more significant than anything in my past career.”

He added, “I’ve focused on what might not be visible to the public eye—those efforts that go unnoticed. Barcelona attracts a lot of media attention, and there are many voices making comments, yet that does not concern me. I understand what I need to focus on and know what works best for me.”
