Kambwala’s Long Road to Recovery

The ex-defender of Manchester United has been sidelined ever since he sustained a severe hamstring injury during a preseason match against Genoa. The injury was serious enough that Kambwala required surgical intervention.

Prolonged Absence

Initially, medical professionals estimated a recovery timeline of five months. However, Kambwala has now been out of action for an extended period of seven months.

Progress in Rehabilitation

The 21-year-old has been diligently working on his recovery over the past three weeks.

Kambwala made the transition to Villarreal last season from Manchester United. During his inaugural season with the Yellow Submarine, he played in 21 matches and steadily increased his presence on the field as the season unfolded.

There is a possibility that he may accompany the team to Vitoria for the upcoming match against Alavés on Friday at Mendizorroza.
