Arsenal is facing disappointment as they anticipate that defender Ben White may be sidelined for at least a month due to a hamstring injury he sustained during their match against Wolves.

The club is currently waiting for definitive reports on the severity of White’s injury, but initial assessments suggest he could be absent for a period ranging from four to six weeks.

The 28-year-old exited the pitch limping in the 31st minute of Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Wolves at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. Myles Lewis-Skelly took his place in the defensive line-up. After the match, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta indicated that White’s injury appears to be a hamstring concern.

Defensive Challenges Ahead

White’s potential absence adds to Arsenal’s mounting injury woes in their defense, coinciding with a packed fixture schedule of four matches in just ten days.

Gabriel Magalhaes has already been ruled out for the remainder of the year after suffering an abductor injury while representing Brazil during the latest international break. Additionally, Cristhian Mosquera is expected to be unavailable until mid-January 2026 due to an ankle issue.

On a more positive note, defenders William Saliba and Jurrien Timber have recently made their returns to the team following their own injury spells.
