Zimbabwe Squad For October World Cup Qualifiers Revealed

Zimbabwe have confirmed a 23-man squad for their concluding fixtures in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, where they face South Africa and Lesotho.

The Warriors sit bottom of Group C with four points, a position that rules them out of contention for a place at next year’s tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Michael Nees’ side will first test their strength against Bafana Bafana on Friday, October 10, with the match scheduled to take place in Botswana as neutral ground.

Their campaign will wrap up three days later with an away tie against Lesotho in South Africa.

Among the notable call-ups in the Zimbabwe squad are Washington Arubi of Marumo Gallants, Mamelodi Sundowns defender Divine Lunga, and Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya from AmaZulu, all plying their trade in South Africa’s Betway Premiership.
