The Ivory Coast has revealed its 26-player roster for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, featuring Wilfried Zaha for the first time in almost two years.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Emerse Fae, Zaha has been reinstated to the squad after showcasing his skills with Charlotte FC in Major League Soccer this season while on loan from Galatasaray.

Four players from the Premier League made the cut: Ibrahim Sangare and Willy Boly from Nottingham Forest, Emmanuel Agbadou of Wolves, and Amad Diallo from Manchester United.

Notably, Sunderland’s Simon Adingra, who emerged as a significant player during the 2023 championship, has not been selected. Evann Guessand from Aston Villa has been placed on standby for any pre-tournament withdrawals.

The tournament is set to commence on December 21, with hosts Morocco facing Comoros. However, FIFA has announced that clubs aren’t required to release players until December 15, which is a week later than the usual guidelines before major competitions.

The 24 participating teams have been organized into six groups of four, with the titleholders drawn into Group F alongside five-time champions Cameroon, Gabon, and Mozambique.
