Wrexham Aims to Surprise Palace with Direct Bid for Cherif

Wrexham Outbids Crystal Palace for Sidiki Cherif

Wrexham has stepped ahead of Crystal Palace in the pursuit of Angers forward Sidiki Cherif.

Crystal Palace’s Initial Offer

Crystal Palace had their first proposal for the 19-year-old turned down by Angers earlier this month.

Wrexham’s Competitive Bid

In a strategic move, Championship side Wrexham has presented their own offer for Cherif. According to the Daily Mail, Wrexham’s proposal includes £12 million upfront along with an additional £2 million based on performance-related bonuses.

In contrast, Palace’s most recent bid consisted of a loan agreement. They offered a loan fee of £2.6 million for the remainder of the season, which included an option to purchase Cherif for £13 million after the loan period ends.
