Gary O’Neil Considered for Wolves Managerial Role
Wolves in Search of New Leadership
Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the lookout for a new manager following the recent departure of Vitor Pereira after their match on Sunday.
Pereira has left the club with Wolves sitting at the bottom of the Premier League standings and enduring a tough season without a win.
O’Neil Emerging as a Top Contender
Gary O’Neil is being discussed as a potential replacement for Pereira, having previously managed the team before his exit nearly a year ago.
Since being let go in December, he has not taken on another managerial position.
Other Candidates in the Mix
According to sources from BBC Sport, Rob Edwards is also under consideration for the managerial spot. He is currently managing Middlesbrough in the Championship.
Edwards has experience leading Luton Town in the Premier League last season and is recognized as a former player for Wolves.
