Volta RFA Finalizes Sponsorship Agreement for the 2025/26 Division Two League Season

Significant Sponsorship Agreement Established

The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has successfully secured a sponsorship deal amounting to GH¢150,000 for the forthcoming 2025/26 Division Two League season.

Formalization of the Partnership

On November 10, 2025, an official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the VRFA Secretariat, establishing the partnership between VRFA Chairman Daniel Agbogah and Martin Davidson, the CEO of Mart ‘D’ Electrical and Construction Works, the principal sponsor.

Expressions of Gratitude from VRFA

During the signing event, Chairman Agbogah conveyed heartfelt thanks to Mart ‘D’ Electricals for their timely financial support, underlining its importance for the growth and sustainability of regional football.

Agbogah stated,

On behalf of the Executive Council and every stakeholder involved in Volta football, I want to express deep gratitude to the CEO and management of Mart ‘D’ Electricals for assisting us in this critical period.

He emphasized,

This sponsorship is transformative. It alleviates the financial pressure on our clubs and will significantly enhance the organization and competitiveness of our leagues. I assure you that every cedi will be directed wisely to foster football development throughout the Volta Region.

Commitment to Affordability

The VRFA Chairman also announced that the Executive Council has opted against raising club registration or participation fees for the upcoming season, reaffirming their dedication to lessening the financial burden on member clubs while improving the quality of the competitions.

Martin Davidson, CEO of Mart ‘D’ Electrical and Construction Works, praised the VRFA’s leadership for its vision and unwavering commitment to improving football in the region.

Davidson remarked,
