Vinicius Jr Expresses Desire to Leave Real Madrid Amid Tensions
Frustration During Barcelona Match
Vinicius Jr voiced his intention to depart Real Madrid during the team’s recent triumph over Barcelona on Sunday night. The Brazilian forward became visibly upset when he was substituted by coach Xabi Alonso in the 71st minute of the match.
Outburst on the Sidelines
“Me? Me? Mister, mister!” Vinicius exclaimed, gesturing dramatically as he sought an explanation for his substitution. His frustration peaked as he pointed to himself, concluding his comments with a harsh “f off” directed toward the heavens. Alonso seemed to intensify the disagreement, retorting sharply, “Come on Vini, you son of a bh!”
Deciding to Leave
After being taken off, Vinicius Jr displayed his displeasure through several angry gestures and then headed straight to the locker room. It was reported by DAZN that he expressed, “I’m leaving the team… I’m leaving, I’d better go.”
Goalkeeper coach Luis Llopis later followed the Brazilian into the dressing room. After talking for several minutes, he was able to convince Vinicius to return to the sidelines and finish watching the game.
