Bayern Munich’s center-back Dayot Upamecano has indicated he will make a thoughtful decision regarding his career, as both Liverpool and Real Madrid keep a close eye on his contract situation ahead of a possible transfer without a fee.

Contract Situation at Bayern Munich

The 27-year-old’s current agreement with Bayern Munich is due to expire at the end of the current season, although discussions are reportedly underway concerning a contract extension.

Interest from Premier League and La Liga Giants

Reigning Premier League champions Liverpool and legendary Spanish club Real Madrid are both rumored to be interested in acquiring Upamecano as a free agent.

From January 1st, if Upamecano has not inked a new deal, he will be eligible to negotiate a preliminary agreement with clubs outside of Germany.
