UEFA Designates Referees for Quarter-Final First Legs

Match Assignments Announced

UEFA has revealed the referees who will officiate the first legs of the quarter-finals. Sandro Schärer will referee the match between Bologna and Aston Villa in the Europa League, while Donatas Rumšas has been appointed to oversee the match between Crystal Palace and Fiorentina in the Conference League.

At the Dall’Ara Stadium, Schärer will be supported by assistant referees Stéphane De Almeida and Jonas Erni, with Fedayi San serving as the VAR official.

Donatas Rumšas

Rumšas will officiate a Serie A team for the first time this season when he manages Fiorentina’s encounter with Crystal Palace.
