Tuchel Uncertain on Guarantees for Real Madrid’s Bellingham

Tuchel won't offer guarantees to Real Madrid star Bellingham

Tuchel Remains Uncertain About Bellingham’s Future with England

No Assurances for Bellingham’s Inclusion

England’s head coach, Thomas Tuchel, has refrained from confirming whether Real Madrid’s midfielder Jude Bellingham will be part of his upcoming squad. Bellingham was notably absent from this week’s international matches during which England secured their qualification for the World Cup.

Communication with Players

When asked if he planned to consult Bellingham before finalizing the roster for the next international break, Tuchel responded: “I suppose so. Why not? Clearly, he is an essential player and a significant asset.”

Engaging with All Players

Tuchel elaborated on his approach, stating, “I will reach out to many players, including those who didn’t participate in the current camp. The individuals selected here deserve their spot and are feeling justified in their selection. It’s also vital for me to maintain communication with the others.”

He assured that “no player has been excluded due to any wrongdoing. It’s not about punishment. I sense from my conversations that everyone is eager to return, and that’s how it should be. I have faith in more players than those currently included.”

Considering Other Talents

“While we often discuss the same individuals, we also have Conor Gallagher, Trevoh Chalobah, and Cole Palmer sidelined due to injuries,” Tuchel pointed out. He emphasized that numerous deserving players are out there, all motivated and keen to join the squad.

Tuchel strongly conveyed, “If we decide to invite them, it’s because we believe they are committed. If not, we wouldn’t extend an invitation. This is non-negotiable.”
