Tottenham’s Strategy for Yves Bissouma’s Contract
Tottenham Hotspur is looking to secure a new deal for Yves Bissouma.
The club is currently exploring options to find a buyer for the midfielder in January, as his current contract is nearing its end this season.
If Spurs are unable to sell him, they will attempt to negotiate a fresh contract with Bissouma.
His existing agreement includes a one-year extension clause that Tottenham can activate unilaterally.
The London club took a similar route last year with former captain Heung-min Son, prior to his transfer to LAFC.
The intentions regarding Bissouma mirror this approach, as Tottenham plans to move forward with selling him in the summer if he remains unavailable during the January window.
