TSG Hoffenheim Thrives on the Field Despite Modest Fan Support
Recent Performance
TSG Hoffenheim is enjoying a streak of success, securing victories in their last three matches. Under the guidance of coach Christian Ilzer, the team has risen impressively to take third place in the standings.
Fan Attendance Woes
Despite their athletic achievements, the support from fans in the stands continues to be underwhelming. During the rescheduled match set for Tuesday evening, the team will again record a low turnout at Bremen’s Weser Stadium.
According to the fan site ‘Die Falsche 9,’ only 254 supporters from TSG are making the trek to Bremen. Approximately 230 of those fans opted to return their tickets after the match was postponed earlier this year due to inclement weather.
This highlights a worrying trend, as it marks the fourth consecutive season in which Hoffenheim has had the fewest away supporters present at the Weser.
Disparity Between Performance and Support
Currently, the disparity between the team’s impressive performances on the pitch and the lack of fan presence is strikingly evident.
