Stockport Completes Transfer of Evertons Defender Dixon

Stockport County Secures Everton’s Roman Dixon on Loan

Loan Agreement Details

Stockport County has officially acquired Everton’s defender, Roman Dixon, on a loan deal that will extend until the conclusion of the current season. The 21-year-old has played in three matches for Everton during the 2024-25 campaign.

Manager’s Insights

Club manager Dave Challinor expressed his enthusiasm about the new signing on the team’s website. “Roman initially joined us in the pre-season but sustained a mild injury while in Pinatar. Unfortunately, upon returning to training, he faced a more significant injury setback. Therefore, it’s been a lengthy journey to finally confirm his status as a Stockport County player,” he noted.

Future Expectations

Challinor continued, “Our aim is to gradually be building his fitness. If we can manage this effectively, we will have a player who thrilled us during the summer. He will offer us valuable options along the right flank.”

He emphasized Dixon’s attributes: “His speed, strength, skill, and eagerness to make attacking runs, combined with his natural wing-back qualities, were key factors in our excitement about him. We hope to witness these qualities on the pitch in the near future.”
