Wolves Chairman Honors Vitor Pereira Following His Departure

Wolves chairman Jeff Shi has expressed his appreciation for Vitor Pereira following the coach’s dismissal earlier today.

Pereira Part Ways with Wolves

Pereira was let go by Wolves after the team suffered a defeat at Fulham on Saturday, leaving them at the bottom of the league, eight points adrift of safety.

Chairman’s Statement

Shi remarked, “Vitor and his staff dedicated themselves to Wolves and assisted us during a difficult phase last season, for which we extend our gratitude.

“Regrettably, the commencement of this season has not met our expectations, and although we were keen to allow the head coach the necessary time and matches to turn things around, we have now reached a juncture where a change is imperative.”

Interim Management

James Collins, the head coach for the Under-21 squad, alongside Richard Walker, the under-18 head coach, have been appointed to take charge on an interim basis.
