Sheringham Suggests Kane’s Next Move: Tottenham Stands Out as the Clear Option

Sheringham reveals where Kane should go next summer: Tottenham would be the obvious choice

Teddy Sheringham Weighs In on Harry Kane’s Future

Insights on Kane’s Performance and Potential Return

Former Tottenham Hotspur forward Teddy Sheringham has shared his thoughts regarding Harry Kane’s future as he continues to excel at Bayern Munich. The England international, who has scored an impressive 280 goals during his time at Spurs, has already netted 98 times for Bayern in just 103 matches, showcasing his remarkable talent.

Spurs’ Desire for Kane’s Return

Recently, Tottenham’s head coach Thomas Frank expressed his hope, along with many fans, for Kane to make a return to the club. Frank stated, “There are a lot of Tottenham fans, including myself, who would like to see Kane back. But he’s welcome. If he wants to join us, he’s more than welcome.”

Sheringham’s Perspective on a Possible Return

In a recent conversation with Coin Poker, Sheringham suggested that at 32, Kane’s transition back to North London seems like the logical choice. He remarked, “It’ll be interesting to see if Harry Kane returns to England. Football can change very quickly, so predicting his next move this season is challenging. However, despite his age, he’d remain one of the most coveted players globally if he were to become available.”

Sheringham continued to note the situation at Manchester United: “They could certainly use a player of his caliber, but it seems unlikely they would acquire him. For me, Tottenham would be the obvious option. I can’t see why the club wouldn’t want him back if the chance arose, and I’m positive the Spurs fans would embrace him with open arms.”

Kane’s Market Value

According to the German newspaper Bild, Kane might be obtainable for a lesser amount of £56.7 million next year. This could be an opportunity for Tottenham, as Kane might shine under Frank’s management, making a significant impact in their pursuit of both the Premier League title and Alan Shearer’s scoring record.
