Senegalese winger Pape Amadou Diallo Out For Four Months

Norwich City suffered a major setback after Senegalese winger Pape Amadou Diallo injured his quadriceps.
Diallo left the pitch in the 76th minute during Norwich’s 3-2 loss to Wrexham on Saturday.
Medical staff treated him on the field before he walked off in visible pain.
The 21-year-old could miss three to four months and might not return this year.
He has impressed since joining Norwich, playing seven matches and providing two assists.
Doctors expect him to undergo surgery soon to repair the damage.
The injury ends his hopes of playing for Senegal at the next Africa Cup of Nations.
“It’s a huge disappointment to lose him,” coach Liam Manning said.
Manning praised Diallo’s quick adaptation to the club and English football.
“We’ll now focus on improving his English and off-pitch work,” Manning added.
Norwich must now adjust their plans without one of their brightest young players.
Pape Diallo aims to recover fully and return stronger in 2026.
