Antoine Semenyo Brace Leads Bournemouth’s Comeback Win Over Fulham

Antoine Semenyo produced a brilliant performance to inspire Bournemouth’s 3-1 comeback victory over Fulham in a dramatic Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.

Fulham looked on course for victory after Ryan Sessegnon finished off a neat move set up by Chukwueze in the 70th minute.

However, Bournemouth responded quickly and turned the game around in style.

Semenyo levelled the score just eight minutes later with a superb finish from a tight angle, threading the ball through Bernd Leno’s legs to ignite hope for the home fans.

The goal shifted the momentum firmly in Bournemouth’s favour, and they pushed forward with renewed energy.

The Ghanaian forward then turned provider, setting up Justin Kluivert, who produced a brilliant solo run before firing home a long-range strike to give Bournemouth a 2-1 lead.

Fulham pressed for an equaliser in stoppage time, leaving gaps at the back, and Bournemouth capitalised once more.

Gannon-Doak charged forward on the counter-attack and unselfishly squared the ball to Semenyo, who slotted home his second goal of the match to seal all three points.

Semenyo’s outstanding display continued his impressive form this season.

The Ghana international has now scored six goals and provided three assists in seven Premier League matches, cementing his reputation as one of Bournemouth’s key attacking threats.

The result marks an important win for Andoni Iraola’s side, who showed resilience and quality to fight back after falling behind.

Bournemouth will aim to build on this momentum when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on 18 October.
