Saudi Teams Reignite Interest in Salah
Saudi Clubs Revive Interest in Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah
Saudi Pro League teams are reportedly reigniting their pursuit of Liverpool’s star player, Mohamed Salah.
Salah’s Current Form
The 33-year-old forward has not been performing at the exceptional level that made him instrumental in Liverpool’s 2024-25 Premier League triumph this season.
Salah has managed to net only five goals and provide three assists in his 15 appearances across all competitions thus far, and has often found himself relegated to a substitute role.
Renewed Interest from Saudi Pro League
As reported by talkSPORT, clubs from the Saudi Pro League are expected to renew their attempts to sign the Egyptian international after unsuccessful efforts during the summer transfer window.
Among the interested teams, Al Hilal appears to be the frontrunner for Salah’s signature, with Al Qadsiah also having made inquiries through his representatives.
The winger had previously declined an eye-watering £500 million offer, but with just a year remaining on his contract with Liverpool, he may become a more feasible target in the upcoming summer transfer window.
