Ghana’s Sarah Nyarko has been awarded the title of the top player in the WAFU B U20 Girls Cup held in Benin. The midfielder from Dreamz Ladies made a significant impact by scoring three goals and assisting in another during Ghana’s four matches in the tournament. Nyarko takes over the accolade from Stella Nyamekye, who was recognized as the best player in the inaugural edition hosted in Kumasi.

Despite Nyarko’s impressive display, Ghana ended up as the runners-up, unable to reclaim their championship title, with Nigeria taking first place.
