Royal Air Maroc Launches Special AFCON 2025 Fares to Welcome Fans to Morocco
Royal Air Maroc introduced promotional round-trip fares for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which Morocco will host next year.
The airline, an official partner of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), plans to increase its flight capacity to handle more than half a million supporters traveling from Africa and Europe for the tournament.
Royal Air Maroc created these discounted fares to help more fans attend the competition. Supporters can now access the offers from several major African cities.
Round-trip prices differ depending on the point of departure. Flights from Abidjan start at roughly 249,000 XOF ($400 USD).
Travelers from Kinshasa can book tickets for around $650 USD, while fans departing from Abuja or Lagos can secure fares for approximately $715 USD.
The airline also released a full list of fares from various cities across the continent.
Royal Air Maroc shows its commitment to affordable travel by doubling seat capacity on routes from every country with a qualified team.
The airline also increases service from major European hubs with large African diaspora populations, including Paris, Brussels, Milan, and London.
To simplify preparations for traveling fans, Royal Air Maroc works with the tournament’s Local Organizing Committee to support the “Yalla” application.
The platform lets supporters obtain the mandatory Fan ID and request an e-visa, both required to purchase tickets on CAF’s official ticketing website and to enter Morocco.
