Rosenior: I Appear to Be the Upcoming Manager for Chelsea

Rosenior Set to Join Chelsea as New Manager

Strasbourg’s head coach, Liam Rosenior, has confirmed that he is set to take over as manager at Chelsea.

Talks Underway in London

Rosenior was in London earlier this week for extensive discussions with Chelsea’s management on Monday.

The former Hull City boss is poised to step in as the replacement for Enzo Maresca, who resigned last Thursday, coinciding with New Year’s Day.

A New Chapter in Rosenior’s Career

In a press conference held this morning in France, Rosenior addressed inquiries regarding his Chelsea negotiations: “I’ve been granted the chance to talk with one of the most prestigious sporting institutions globally.”

“It appears that I will be the new manager of that football club,” he added.

Rosenior highlighted that he has received interest from several clubs, including those in the Champions League, in recent times. However, he views the opportunity at Chelsea as one he simply cannot overlook.

He further remarked, “The past year and a half have been phenomenal and certainly the highlight of my professional journey. I’ve had the chance to work with remarkable individuals, forge unforgettable memories, and leave a mark in history. None of this would have been possible without the commitment of our ownership and the tireless efforts of our president, Marc Keller.”

“I have been transparent with Marc and our ownership about the interest from multiple clubs, including those in the Champions League. My affection for this club will endure throughout my life, but accepting Chelsea’s offer is a chance that I cannot miss.”
