Rosenior Content to Entrust Chelsea Market Responsibilities to Leadership

Chelsea’s Head Coach Embraces Collaboration on Transfers

Focus on Team Performance

Chelsea’s head coach, Liam Rosenior, expressed contentment in allowing others to manage transfer activities for the club.

The responsibility for shaping the club’s transfer strategy primarily lies with sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.

Delegating Responsibilities

“I appreciate the advantage of being a head coach within a well-defined structure,” Rosenior stated. “I’m not a traditional manager who makes phone calls and negotiates deals.”

Trust in the Team

“I have the best professionals in world football handling these matters. My involvement is limited to the final stages of their efforts, which enables me to concentrate on what is truly important: the team and its performance,” he added.

When asked if he prefers the transfer duties be managed by others, Rosenior confirmed, “Absolutely. I have no interest in spending my entire day in an office. My passion lies on the training pitch.”
