Chelsea forward Kendry Paez has transitioned to Argentina’s River Plate on a loan deal that will last until the end of the year.

The Ecuadorian international featured in 21 matches for Strasbourg during the initial part of the season, competing across all tournaments before making the switch to the Argentine club.

Background and Experience

Paez officially signed with Chelsea shortly after celebrating his 18th birthday in May 2025. Prior to joining Chelsea, he had amassed significant experience with 70 senior appearances for Independiente del Valle in Ecuador. Additionally, he has made 23 appearances for the Ecuadorian national team.
