Richmond Opoku, representing Young Apostles, has been honored as the NASCO Player of the Month for September in the Ghana Premier League, marking his inaugural monthly award in the top division.
Opoku showcased his talent this month, netting three remarkable goals, surpassing competitors Mohammed Zaidan from Karela United and Etse Dogli of Heart of Lions for this accolade.
His exceptional form has significantly contributed to Young Apostles’ impressive start to the season. The team, based in Wenchi, currently holds the third position in the league standings with 10 points after five matches, achieving their best start since they entered the Ghana Premier League in 2024.
