Lewi Richards has officially joined Chelsea on a professional contract.

The young fullback’s new agreement comes shortly after he celebrated his 17th birthday.

Strong Performance with the U18 Team

Richards has been an integral part of Chelsea’s U18 squad this season.

He made his debut for the Under-19s in a remarkable 6-3 victory against Ajax in the UEFA Youth League.

To date, Richards has played every match for the U18 team in the ongoing 2025/26 season, contributing three goals to the team’s performance.
