A loss to Celta Vigo upon the league’s resumption next weekend may very well lead to Sergio’s dismissal from his position at La Real.

According to TMW, the club is eyeing Motta as a potential successor to Sergio.

Motta’s Availability

The former midfielder, who has played for both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, is currently available for hire following his recent exit from Juventus last season. Although initially linked with a move to Monaco, the team opted for Sebastian Poconogli instead after parting ways with Adi Hutter.

This week, initial discussions have taken place between La Real and Motta, but thus far, these talks have only confirmed mutual interest without progressing further.
