Leadership Transition at Red Bull Arena

The position of Chief Executive Officer at Red Bull Arena has remained unfilled since the departure of Mintzlaff, who moved on to become the managing director of the Red Bull group, taking over from Dietrich Mateschitz after his passing.

New Addition to the Team

Haenni is set to commence her new role at the club starting January 1st. She will collaborate closely with sporting director Marcel Schäfer, alongside Johann Plenge and Florian Hopp, who occupy similar positions in the realms of business and administration.

Historical Milestone

This appointment makes Haenni the first female CEO of a Bundesliga club. The experienced 59-year-old previously led the women’s football division for the Swiss football association.
