Rayan Bardghji Turns Down Barcelona Opportunity for FC Nordsjaelland Move

Rayan Bardghji Opts for FC Nordsjælland, Following in His Brother’s Footsteps

Rayan Bardghji, following the departure of his brother Roony, has left FC Copenhagen this summer and received an invitation to join him in Spain.

However, Rayan made the decision to sign with the Danish club FC Nordsjælland instead.

Choosing Nordsjælland

“Indeed, it was a very close decision,” Rayan shared with Expressen.

“The day before, I sat down with my agent and family to discuss what would be best for my career. Ultimately, we concluded that Nordsjælland would be more suitable for me at this moment. This club is renowned for providing young talents with opportunities on the first team, and they have an excellent plan in place for my development.”

Rayan is currently playing for FC Nordsjælland’s U19 squad while also training with the senior team.

Ambitions and Goals

“I believe my opportunity will arise soon. My aspiration is to make my Super League debut at the age of 16, just like my brother did. My objective is to join the first team as quickly as possible, and Nordsjælland has faith in my abilities, which is why I chose to come here.”

Rayan expressed his enthusiasm about the transition, stating, “I have felt at home since my first day here. The welcome has been warm, and it’s as if I have known everyone already. The future looks promising at this club, and as I mentioned, they have a solid development plan in place for me, offering me the best support.”
