Unexpected Exit from Mexico
Wales international Aaron Ramsey has revealed that his decision to leave UNAM Pumas was not one he made himself. His time in Mexico came with challenges, as he only participated in six matches before he faced a hamstring injury and also dealt with the disappearance of his family’s pet dog.

Hopes for the Future
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City player expressed his eagerness to contribute more to the Pumas, saying, “With their assistance and my dedication, I was ready and fit for the upcoming matches, and I was excited to give my best for the team.”
However, he shared his disappointment regarding the unexpected termination of his contract, stating, “It was a surprise and clearly disheartening. Hence, I had no option but to return home to Wales.”
In closing, Ramsey reaffirmed his appreciation for the support he received during his tenure in Mexico, emphasizing its beauty and stating, “We will certainly plan to return for a visit in the near future.”
