Jordan Pickford Signs New Contract with Everton
Excited Goalkeeper Signs Until 2029
Jordan Pickford has expressed his joy after signing a new contract with Everton, extending his stay until 2029.
Building a Legacy at Everton
“I’m absolutely thrilled, and this gives me a chance to create a legacy for myself here, to progress and help elevate this club to where we aspire to be,” Pickford stated. He continued, “Everton holds a special place in my heart. Transitioning from Sunderland as a young player to maturing here has been significant for both me and my family.”
Positive Outlook for the Club
“I believe the tough times are behind us, and now it’s about creating positive momentum as a team and a club,” Pickford added. His new agreement comes after teammates James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite also committed to new contracts.
Commitment to Progress
“The new ownership is demonstrating their desire to propel us forward. Our manager has conveyed the same intent since his arrival, and us as players are showing that on the pitch,” Pickford remarked.
“We’ve had a strong start and aim to maintain that momentum to bring Everton back to competing at a European level. We aspire to have clear direction, and eventually, we hope to lift some trophies as well.”
