Crystal Palace’s captain, Marc Guehi, is willing to join Liverpool following the conclusion of the season.

The defender, who represents England on the international stage, is set to see his contract expire in June and plans to complete his current term.

Previous Transfer Attempt

Liverpool had a bid of £35 million accepted by Crystal Palace on transfer deadline day; however, the deal fell through when Palace retracted their agreement just hours before the window closed.

Reports from Sky Sports indicate that Guehi is eager for a transfer to Anfield, and a ‘gentlemen’s agreement’ has reportedly been established, paving the way for his move this summer.

Nonetheless, the situation could shift if Crystal Palace opts to sell him during the January transfer window.

Interest from Other Clubs

In addition to Liverpool, top European clubs such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also monitoring Guehi’s situation and may consider making an offer next month.
