Black Stars Donates to Osu Children’s Home Following World Cup Qualification

The Black Stars made a heartfelt contribution to the Osu Children’s Home on Monday, shortly after achieving qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The donation was organized by the coaching staff, including Head Coach Otto Addo, Technical Advisor Winfred Schaeffer, and Assistant Coaches Desmond Ofei Sakyi, John Panstil, Fatau Dauda, along with several other support members such as psychologists, video analysts, physiotherapists, and the team’s manager, Ameenu Shardow.

The primary aim of this visit was to enhance the welfare of the children, extend support to those in need, and foster ties with the local community. This act reflects the team’s commitment to social responsibility and their desire to give back.
World Cup Qualification
The Black Stars earned their spot in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place across Mexico, Canada, and the United States. They achieved this milestone by defeating Comoros 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium, ending the qualifying campaign with a commendable record of 25 points from 8 victories, 1 defeat, and 1 draw.
