Andre Onana has officially joined Trabzonspor, making a significant entry into the Super Lig today.

Loan Transfer Details

The goalkeeper from Manchester United is set to play for Trabzonspor on a loan basis for the entire season. There is no option for a permanent transfer, and United will not be compensated with a fee for the loan arrangement.

Arrival in Trabzon

Onana made his way to the northeastern Turkish city of Trabzon on Thursday, following his participation with the Cameroon national team in World Cup qualifiers against Cape Verde and Eswatini earlier this week.

He received a warm reception at Trabzon airport, where a large crowd of fans greeted him on Thursday afternoon.

At 29 years old, Onana departs from United just two years after he joined the club in 2023 from Inter Milan for a transfer fee of £47 million.
