Nottingham Forest Approaches Roberto Mancini After Managerial Change
Nottingham Forest has allegedly reached out to ex-Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini following the dismissal of Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou’s Exit
Postecoglou, aged 60, was removed from his position after Forest’s disappointing 3-0 loss to Chelsea on October 18 in the Premier League.
The Australian managed the team for only eight matches, during which they recorded six losses and two draws in all competitions. Owner Evangelos Marinakis ultimately decided it was time for a change.
Mancini Considered for the Role
As reported by The Athletic, Nottingham Forest has already initiated discussions with Mancini, also 60, regarding the managerial vacancy.
Mancini has been without a role since departing from the Saudi Arabian national team last October. He is notably remembered for leading Manchester City to their first Premier League title.
