Nottingham Forest in Talks with Sean Dyche Following Postecoglou’s Departure

Nottingham Forest is reportedly engaged in serious negotiations with Sean Dyche after the recent firing of Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou’s Dismissal

The Australian coach was let go shortly after Nottingham Forest suffered a 3-0 loss to Chelsea at home on October 18. Postecoglou held the managerial position for just over a month, having succeeded the popular Nuno Espirito Santo. During his brief tenure, he managed to earn only two draws and suffered six defeats across eight games.

Potential Replacement

According to Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest is now in ‘advanced discussions’ with the 54-year-old Dyche, who previously managed Everton and Burnley. Dyche has been without a managerial role since leaving Everton in January. However, it is important to note that other candidates are still being considered for the position.

The Athletic has also reported that the club has reached out to former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini regarding the vacancy.
