The Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) convened its 2025 Ordinary Congress in Tamale on October 31, 2025. The event brought together club representatives, coaches, referees, and football officials to review the past season and outline strategic plans for the upcoming year.

He emphasized the GFA’s continued support for regional football and the investments being made in youth programs, coaching education, refereeing reforms, and infrastructure through the FIFA Forward initiative.

Mr. Nobel reassured clubs of ongoing logistical and technical support from the GFA, highlighting the importance of strengthening regional associations as the foundation of Ghana’s football structure. He encouraged all stakeholders to remain united, disciplined, and focused on enhancing the sport at the community level.

Delegates discussed the upcoming football calendar, compliance with regulations, and initiatives to improve matchday organization and officiating standards. Chairman Rhyzo stressed the need for professionalism among clubs, discouraging hooliganism and promoting the adoption of digital administrative systems being introduced by the GFA. These systems aim to improve transparency and efficiency in football operations.
