Nkunku joined AC Milan permanently last summer after his transfer from Chelsea. Recently, speculation arose linking him to a potential transfer to Turkey during the January transfer window.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the French forward clarified his stance, stating, “Leaving was never on my mind, that’s the key point. My agent hasn’t mentioned any offers, so these were mere speculations. He knows me well—I didn’t ask him to explore opportunities elsewhere because my focus has always been on performing well here at Milan.”

Scoring Challenges and Team Contributions

It took Nkunku four months to net his first goal for the club, and he shared, “I made an effort to remain composed, as I’m aware of my abilities and knew the goals would eventually come. It was really about patience and staying fit. For a forward, scoring is essential because that’s the expectation. While I believe I contributed to the team in other capacities, providing an assist or scoring is definitely more noticeable.”
