Nike Signs 12-Year

Young Football Prodigy: Destiny Kosiso’s Promising Journey

Early Talent at La Masia

At only 12 years old, Kosiso has been making waves with impressive scoring statistics while playing for Barcelona’s prestigious La Masia academy.

New Beginnings

According to Gol International Ltd., the agency represented by the prominent agent Pini Zahavi, who also manages Barca’s coach Hansi Flick and striker Robert Lewandowski, a significant milestone has been reached for Destiny Kosiso. Just recently, at the tender age of 11, she signed a contract with Nike.

Ongoing Guidance

Although Kosiso has not officially signed with Gol, Zahavi serves as an informal advisor to her family. Destiny is the youngest child of former Nigerian footballer Ejike Paschal. Her two older brothers, David Obinna (17) and Divine Ikenna (16), have also been part of Barcelona’s youth setup.

Rising Star Recognition

Zahavi shared insights regarding Kosiso’s standing within the academy, stating, “He is highly esteemed at Barça’s youth academy. If I remember correctly, he netted 145 goals in just 52 matches last season.”

Corporate Interest

Regarding the Nike deal, Zahavi explained, “It’s essential to grasp the strategies these companies employ when targeting players they foresee as future stars. They aim to establish connections to secure potential contracts. The outcome remains uncertain.”
