CAF License C Coaching Course Begins in Prampram
Launch of the Seventh Cohort
The latest session of the CAF License C Coaching Course has officially kicked off at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence located in Prampram.
Course Structure and Schedule
The initial phase of the program, known as Module I, is scheduled to continue until November 13, 2025. Participants will be required to complete a one-month internship with a club of their choice after this module. Following the internship, they will reconvene in Prampram for Module II, which consists of a concluding ten-day segment of the certification process.
Expert Instruction Team
A respected group of coaching instructors from CAF and the GFA is overseeing the course. They are led by Prof. Joseph Kwame Mintah, the GFA Technical Director, along with Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum (Head of Coaching Education), as well as experienced trainers Emmanuel Kwesi Mensah, Charles Anokye Frimpong, and Abukari Damba.
Focus and Goals of the Program
The CAF License C program aims to provide coaches, especially those involved in grassroots football, with essential tactical, technical, and educational skills crucial for effective player development. Participants will experience a comprehensive blend of theoretical learning and hands-on field exercises, emphasizing contemporary coaching methods, player development pathways, and match analysis techniques.
