Bundesliga Set to Resume
While other leagues continue to play with little interruption, the Bundesliga is ready to restart this weekend. In the upcoming weeks and months, several players are likely to aim for Julian Nagelsmann’s attention.
Player Spotlight: Grischa Prömel
One of the players eager to impress is Grischa Prömel. After being sidelined last season with a serious knee injury, the Hoffenheim midfielder has managed to rack up seven scoring contributions in his first 15 games back in the Bundesliga.
Dreaming of the World Cup
It’s entirely appropriate to dream a little about the World Cup, isn’t it? In a recent interview on TSG’s official site, Prömel expressed that his primary focus before the season was simply regaining his fitness. He admitted that he hadn’t considered a potential World Cup spot yet: “However, if Julian Nagelsmann has a bold idea in the spring, it would be a joy for me.”
Additionally, the 30-year-old mentioned he had entertained thoughts of attending the World Cup as a fan to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Should Nagelsmann think about including Prömel in the squad? We welcome your thoughts in the comments.
