MTN FA Cup 2025/26 Launches Today with Thrilling Preliminary Matches
The 2025/26 MTN FA Cup is set to commence today, Friday, October 24, 2025, featuring an array of eight electrifying preliminary matches happening nationwide.

In Tarkwa, Nsuopon Fidelity is gearing up to host Future Stars at the TnA Stadium, while Sanakara National travels to the Kurt Okraku Technical Centre to face Berekum City FC.
Thought FC will take on Debibi United, and Ebony FC is scheduled to meet New Edubiase at the Mohammed Kamil Arena located in Sunyani’s Coronation Park.
In another matchup, Fijai United will clash with Bentinase Stars at Kobby’s Astro Turf, and OP Heroes FC will welcome UCC Youngsters to the Unistar Soccer Academy Park. Additionally, at Fetteh Feyenoord Astro Turf, Fettehman United is set to compete against Police National.
One of the highly anticipated matches features last season’s finalists, Golden Kick, who will visit Nania Park for a challenging game against Attram De Visser, which is expected to be a highlight of this round.

Tournament Format
The preliminary round matches will take place throughout the weekend from October 24 to October 27, 2025. The victorious teams from this stage will proceed to join the 18 Premier League clubs for the Round of 64, where the competition will escalate as lower-tier teams seek to measure their abilities against some of the country’s top clubs.
