MTN Elite U19: Regional Squads Gather for Inaugural Division Two Championship
Exciting Event at Ghanaman Soccer Centre
The Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram is prepared to welcome regional teams for the first-ever MTN Elite U-19 Inter-Regional Tournament.
Orientation and Tournament Schedule
Teams from various Regional Football Associations (RFA) will participate in an orientation session on Thursday evening. Matches will commence on Friday, October 24, 2025, and the tournament will take place over a span of 11 days, concluding on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Showcase for Young Talent
This inaugural tournament will feature ten U-19 teams from different RFAs, aiming to highlight some of the brightest young football talents in the country. It is designed to celebrate teamwork and excellence in football while providing players with a platform to present their skills on a national level, contributing to Ghana’s ongoing football development efforts.

The event is proudly sponsored by MTN Ghana and is a significant part of the Ghana Football Association’s “Power to the Youth” initiative, a vital element of the GFA’s comprehensive youth development strategy. This initiative seeks to establish a clear path for young athletes to transition from grassroots football into professional careers and national team representation.

Official Tournament Dates
The MTN Elite U-19 Championship will officially commence on Friday, October 24, and conclude on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
