The MTN Elite U-19 Championship commenced with thrilling matches on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. Both the Eastern Region and Greater Accra Region have emerged as early frontrunners in their respective groups following an exhilarating opening day.

Group A Results and Standings

In the first group, Eastern Region claimed the top position after a commanding 5–2 win against the Upper West Region. This impressive performance not only earned them three points but also established their status as early favorites in the competition. The Northern Region follows in second place after narrowly defeating the Western Region with a score of 1–0 in a fiercely contested match.

This performance has solidified their aspirations for the championship title. In second position, Ashanti Region also secured three points by coming from behind to defeat the Volta Region with a score of 3–1.
