Moyes Suggests Everton Continues Hunt for New Striker

Moyes hints Everton still looking for new goalscorer

Moyes Aims to Strengthen Everton’s Forward Line

Everton manager David Moyes has suggested that the team is still pursuing the acquisition of a new center-forward.

Search for a Striker Continues

Despite signing Thierno Barry to partner with Beto, Everton hasn’t found its scoring form this season.

Moyes noted, “Acquiring strikers is challenging. Can you name some strikers available? I could explain why we might not be able to sign them or why they wouldn’t want to join us.”

“You may think there’s a viable option out there. However, factors such as age or financial considerations can create barriers. We are working diligently behind the scenes to secure feasible options. Honestly, during my time at West Ham, I struggled to find a suitable striker.”

“We managed to bring in one each year, but even top players like Gianluca Scamacca found it difficult to adjust, despite being Italy’s national team striker. We would have preferred a more robust solution, but we cannot resolve everything in a single transfer window. Moreover, we might not have been appealing enough for some players.”

“I’m optimistic that we can generate goals through Thierno and Beto, while our other players will contribute creatively.”
