Mora, the Mexican Talent, Backs LaLiga Powerhouse Over Manchester United and Ajax, Says Tijuana Chief

Mexican whiz Mora favours LaLiga giant ahead of Man Utd, Ajax - Tijuana chief

Gilberto Mora Envisions Future with Real Madrid

Mexican prodigy Gilberto Mora aspires to join Real Madrid, according to Ignacio Ruvalcaba, the academy director of Club Tijuana.

Interest from Top Clubs

Real Madrid, alongside Manchester United and Ajax, is reportedly keen on securing his talents. However, Ruvalcaba emphasizes that Real Madrid holds a significant advantage in the pursuit.

“He harbors a dream of playing for Real Madrid while remaining grounded. He avidly follows football and is an admirer of the team. He truly envisions himself donning their colors,” he remarked, as cited by barcauniversal.com.

Support from Family and Potential

“I believe his family plays a crucial role in his development: his father maintains a strong bond with him, and I hope to see him thrive at that level. He is eager to play there in the future and is passionate about European football. I am confident he possesses the quality needed for those leagues,” Ruvalcaba added.

Agent Highlights Opportunities

Rafaela Pimenta, who represents Mora, acknowledges the significant interest surrounding the young star.

“We have witnessed over the years that a player can begin in a smaller league and progress from there. Whether he joins a major team now depends on his readiness as a player. He is capable of playing anywhere he desires,” she stated.

Pimenta further explained, “It is not possible to purchase just one of Gilberto Mora’s legs for $15 million. He cannot transfer until he turns 18 without the necessary permissions, but any club wishing to engage with him must go through his team for approval. Similar to Vinicius and Endrick, he may need to sign contracts at 17 before a transfer at 18.”

At just 16 years old, Mora has already made three senior appearances for Mexico.
