Mexican Talent Gilberto Mora Aspires to Join Real Madrid

Mexican prodigy Gilberto Mora harbors ambitions of playing for Real Madrid, as confirmed by Ignacio Ruvalcaba, the head of the Club Tijuana academy.

Interest from Leading Clubs

According to reports, major clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Ajax are keen on Mora. However, Ruvalcaba emphasizes that Real Madrid is in the strongest position to secure the young talent.

“It is his dream to play for Real Madrid, yet he remains grounded. He follows football closely and has a passion for watching Real Madrid matches. He genuinely envisions himself on that team,” Ruvalcaba stated.

Supportive Family Environment

He highlighted the importance of Mora’s supportive family, mentioning, “His family is very focused; his father has maintained a strong relationship with him, and I am hopeful for his success there. He sees himself playing in such a prestigious club in the future. His admiration for European football is evident, and I believe he possesses the talent to excel in those leagues.”

Representation and Future Prospects

Rafaela Pimenta, Mora’s agent, acknowledged the heightened interest surrounding him. “We have seen many players transition from smaller leagues to bigger opportunities. The right move depends on the individual player’s readiness, and he is prepared to take on challenges wherever he goes,” she explained.

Pimenta further elaborated, “It’s not feasible to place a $15 million price tag on just one of Gilberto Mora’s legs. He cannot transfer until he turns 18 without consent, but should a team wish to discuss a transfer, they would need approval from his camp. Players like Vinicius and Endrick signed contracts at 17 and made their transfers at 18.”

At the age of 16, Mora has already earned three caps for the senior Mexican national team, showcasing his potential on an international stage.
